Quealy and Co are collecting donations for local foodbanks

Quealy & Co Sales, Lettings and Financial Services will be collecting donations of food for local foodbanks between June 10th and 20th as part of a national initiative to collect at least 10,000 items of food for those in need. The event, which is being promoted with the hashtag #RANFoodbank10k is part of a massive national initiative to tackle food poverty involving hundreds of estate agency branches who are part of Relocation Agent Network.

‘We’re really keen to show practical support to people in our local communities that simply need food’ said Sue Richardson, charities co-ordinator at Quealy & Co. ‘Local people can drop into any of our 7 high street locations and donate food to this amazing cause.’

This is the second year that Quealy & Co have promoted this cause, collecting over 6,000 items of food in 2018.

‘We’ve really raised the bar this year’, continued Sue. ‘We know that a target of 10,000 items is ambitious, but we’re determined to get there!’

The campaign culminates on June 20th, which is Agents Giving Day, when estate and letting agents show their support to Agents Giving – a UK based charity that supports a range of good causes.

Foodbanks local to Quealy & Co have a very specific need to provide for their local communities and donations of the following items are really needed:

  • Fruit Juice (Long Life)
  • Fruit Squash
  • Angel Delight
  • Jelly
  • Tinned Meat
  • Tinned Fish
  • Tinned Peas, Carrots, Sweetcorn
  • Long Life Milk
  • Chocolate Biscuits
  • Pasta
  • Rice
  • Boxes of Cereal
  • Tinned Soup
  • Tea
  • Coffee
